Learning about Litter

Gabe and I were walking across a parking lot and came across some trash. Gabe asked incredulously, "Why do people do that?" "I don't know, sweet pea", I replied. He remained adamant, "Littering will hurt the world and that will hurt us". I replied, impressed with his response, "where did you learn that?". He asserted, "I saw it on TV....see and you think TV is bad". Humbled I said, "well, I'm not a big fan of TV...every once in a while there's something good". And then I added, "but it still rots your brain!".
